Our sweet, thick, tangy, sauce was a labor of love and desperation. Warren Clark spent many years perfecting his Barbecue and was hard pressed to find a sauce that would do it justice, so he decided to create his own. Combining just the right amount of tomatoes, seasoning and smoke, it took a couple of years and a lot of taste buds before he felt it was just right. Today it's served on every table at Clark's Outpost and people seem to agree with him, it is just right.
